A student is defined as a holder of a student identification card from a recognised tertiary educational institution or a holder of an international student card. Students must be studying full time or part-time to qualify for the discounted rate. A copy of your student identification card will need to be sent to at time of registering.

The full registration fee entitles delegates to the following:

  • Conference Satchel
  • Welcome Reception
  • Morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea for all days

The day or two day registration fee entitles delegates to the following:

  • Access to all sessions on the nominated day(s)
  • Program at a glance

  • Morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea on the nominated day(s)

Important Passport and Visa Information

All visitors to Australia must have a valid visa to travel to and enter Australia. Welcome letters can be requested by emailing the Conference Managers following completion of Conference registration. Note – it is strongly recommended that Australian visa applications are lodged at least two months prior to departure from your point of origin.

Registration Terms and Conditions

Intention to photograph/record

The APA/IFOMPT reserves the right to use photographs and video footage, taken at any stage throughout the conference, for the purposes of advertising and promoting APA/IFOMPT and its events. If you do not wish to comply with this policy, you must notify the APA Conference & Events Team prior to the event.

Cancellation policy

Delegates who find themselves unable to attend the conference after submitting and paying for a registration are welcome to nominate a substitute. Any cancellation must be in writing to the National Office, attention to the Conference & Events Team. Cancellations prior to 31 August 2020 will incur an administration fee of AUD$150. After that date, no refund will be given other than for ‘exceptional circumstances’.

The APA/IFOMPT reserves the right to change information. The program is correct at the time of publishing. The organisers reserve the right to delete, modify or alter items within the program or to delete, modify or alter any aspect of the Conference timetabling and delivery at their sole discretion and without notice. Neither the host organisation(s) nor the Conference Managers will accept any liability for any loss or inconvenience caused to any party consequent to such changes. The Conference Committee cannot accept any liability of whatever nature for the acts, omissions or default, whether negligent or otherwise of those airlines, hoteliers or other persons providing services to the event.
